It's not hyperbole to say the late Roger Ailes was a giant of television. As head of Fox News, he built the cable channel up from a slight competitor of CNN to easily the most watched news channel in the United States. He was also a workplace sexual predator. Director Jay Roach's Bombshell chronicles his downfall as victims came forward in 2016 after years of his leering, bullying, lewd innuendos, groping and sexual assaults.
John Lithgow, encased in a fat suit and superb makeup work, portrays Ailes with the capability we've come to expect from him. Three of his victims are quite ably played by some of the best actresses in the movies today: Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson, Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly, and Margot Robbie as a composite character named Kayla.
Bombshell is well paced, and Roach gets terrific performances out of Lithgow and Robbie in particular. This film is worth the price of admission.

But the depiction of Roger Ailes and many males in this film are just so whacky and unrealistic it pains me, they are basically either pure evil or dumb, kinda reminds me of ghostbuster tbh. Yeah yeah you have a agenda, but can you at least be fair and recognize that not all men are evil or dumb.
